Please vote YES on ELAPP

From a concerned citizen:

Hello everyone,

Please vote YES on ELAPP to preserve environmentally sensitive lands in Hillsborough County.

This is not a Democrat v. Republican issue, this is a quality of life issue for all of us and future generations.

We need a  majority to vote YES on November 4th or the ELAPP program will expire.
This existing and very successful program known as (ELAPP) Hillsborough County's Environmental Land Acquisition and Protection Program will expire unless renewed by the voters.

Voting YES continues an existing program, this is not a new tax, so property owners will not see an increase in their tax bills.

A YES vote means:

Preserving natural areas, wildlife habitat and water resources that play a very important role in preserving the quality of life in Hillsborough County.

With continued growth and development pressures we must act now to continue to preserve our last remaining open space for our children and our grandchildren.

PS>  Please forward to every Hillsborough County voter you know.  This is not a Democrat v. Republican issue, this is a quality of life issue for all of us and future generations.

P.S. from Dolly: The Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center only exists because of the ELAP program. If it were not for the ELAPP Committee's foresight, there might be any number of non-public projects on this site. Help continue the goal of protecting valuable habitats in future public lands purchases by voting YES!
