Mr. Ward’s photographs have been featured in Smithsonian, National Wildlife, African Geographic and Outdoor Geographic magazines. His first book, Edge Of Africa, documents his eight months in the tropical rainforests of Gabon. His most recent project is documenting endangered African elephants on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Although he has traveled the world, Mr. Ward has concentrated much of his efforts on documenting the disappearing natural heritage of Florida.
