From: Harriett Wright <hw@tampabay.rr.com> Subject: Suncoast Native Plant Society meeting There's not much we can do to call a halt to population growth in our state, but do we have to settle for dumb growth? Miki Renner, Planning Manager for Swiftmud, says absolutely not: growth can be "smart", and development can have a low impact on our natural environment. Not only that, native plants have a place in her vision for a sustainable future in our beautiful part of the world. She will explain this and more in her presentation tomorrow, November 19, at 7:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Hillsborough Extension Office at 5339 County Road 579 in Seffner (I-4 Exit 10 South, just east of I-275). The meeting is free and the public is invited. Come to the parking lot around back, and enter through the iron gates. |
